A game about befriending robots in a dying city.

Evenfall is an upcoming point-and-click visual novel by Niv, with music by turingsghost.
Demo available now! Play it for free on itch.io or Steam.

A development build of Evenfall with hours of additional content is available on Patreon!

Evenfall is known as the city of eternal sunset—an ex-mining colony where the sun hangs motionless below the horizon. Countless robots eke out a living under its flickering streetlights. One day, all of the city's outgoing communication goes dark.
When intrepid technician Indigo is sent to diagnose the issue, they quickly hit it off with the locals. They've always preferred the company of machines over their fellow humans, and the cuties at the local bar are no exception.
But with megacorporate support dwindling, Evenfall is on the brink of collapse. As Indigo digs into the city's secrets, they uncover a conspiracy that might finally spell an end to the twilit metropolis—with Indigo caught in the middle.

If you run across this charming loner in a bar, be careful of his silver tongue—he's just as likely to swipe your chits as he is to take you home.
As one of the last employees in Evenfall's gutted Department of Information, Em knows to keep their head down. But when the streetlights turn off, she dreams of chronicling the city's complex history.

Abandoned by his multibillionaire owner, Shonkhor is in search of a new directive to follow. But can he find someone to fill the human-shaped hole in his heart?

Hi, I'm Niv. I'm a creator deer who makes video games about friendship and exploration. I also have a soft spot for first-person shooters, rhythm games, and puzzle games. You can play my previous game Purrgatory on itch.io and Steam.
I've been creating for a long time, but I'm new to making money off of it. Currently I work a day job at a library to support myself and my partner. With your support on Patreon, I hope to one day make a living off of creating games like this. Thank you for helping make my dreams a reality!

Evenfall's original announcement was hidden behind an ARG, or an internet scavenger hunt. I've always wanted to make one of these! You can still play the Evenfall ARG online.
My eternal gratitude to the talented voice actors who featured in the ARG:
As well as my playtesters, LunacyEcho and Clarity.
